What is faith?

 

What is faith? It’s looking

Into His eternal loving eyes,

The longing of His soul

Is there revealed.

Wrapped in immortal strength

That never lies

And every word He speaks

In truth is sealed.

How can we doubt the God

That made the stars

And every living thing

That we can see.

Who gave Himself to tear

away deaths bars,

In anguish on the dreadful

Cross on Calvery.

The sweetest message ever heard

And knowing that He

Loves us so,

He can never break His word

That is faith.
