A few more steps,

You’re nearly there –

Look back and see

How far you’ve come,

Nearly, nearly there!

Don’t give up now, ‘twill

All have been in vain;

All that climbing,

All that strain.

The way has been dreary.

Your heart so weary!

 

Just a few more steps

The top’s in sight;

God is surrounding you….

Angels hold on to you……

A few more steps

That’s all!

Hold on tight

Just a little more –
