Heart of my heart,

Breath of my breath,

Sight of my eyes

Stronger than death!

Life of my life,

My taste and hearing;

My speech defined,

My movement bearing!

Bodily strength,

Sweet perfumes sensing.

Essence of Heaven

Like dew condensing.

Love of all love,

Strength of all strength,

Each moment conforming.

Transforms at length!

This life shall never pass away,

Existing through eternal day!
